Join me on October 26, 2025, from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM @ the Patricia Schell Memorial Meeting Room, Williamsburg Regional Library (515 Scotland Street)
Let’s talk about how open, engaging and effective communication (among many different tools) can benefit YOU and YOUR KIDS as you walk through the parenting journey.
I believe that with the right tools and correct approach to parenting:
WE can be better prepared to raise our children in the most beneficial way
Welcome to the first episode of The Positive Parenting Series at Williamsburg Regional Library.

POPA is Positive Parenting and Co-Parenting
Positive Parenting is based on open, engaging and effective communication.
There is no manual to be a parent but with the right tools and approach, parents can benefit and ease their journey.

Because we believe in the power of education.
Parent education is information, helpful information when/if delivered timely can help the way to approach, and manage different set of conflicts, issues, and difficulties.
Parent education is helpful information and helpful information is powerful.
Parent education is an instructional long-term tool benefiting the parents and the children = The Family.

Because it will benefit the parent(s) involved along with their child(ren) = The Household / The Family
Parent education is Information + Information is Education = Education is POWER.

Whether you have been court-ordered to take our seminar or just want to be informed, POPA is a tool that will benefit you and your family. Once you complete the seminar, the information given will benefit you and the people around you, today, tomorrow, and for the times to come in the future.
There is a before and after (as most participants said) once the seminar is attended.
POPA’s ultimate goal is to inform the parental community, to better navigate the road through parenting, with simple educational tools.

There are a few reasons why POPA is unique.
POPA is based on many years of legal, factual, and lifestyle research plus people’s experiences.
POPA syllabus was written by our director (Mercedes Carolina Nieves) based on years of personal interactions and conflict-related situations, that provides a combined uniqueness, you would not find anywhere else.
POPA is bilingual, you can take the seminars in English and/or Spanish with syllabus approved by The Superior Court of Virginia in both languages.
Most importantly: We are TOTALLY driven by human brains & AI (artificial intelligence) free.
